GOD IS GOOD!

Scripture Reading:

Psalm 100:5 KJV

For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

As a form of a grand opening for this category we are starting off with this wonderful verse in scripture about the goodness of God. The Bible makes us understand that only God is good, and in His goodness He gives not only good gifts, but also perfect gifts. When we look into our lives and be utterly sincere with oursleves, we will be able to testify to the goodness of God.

Maybe there are some specific things we expect to see which to us is evidence enough that God is good; unfortunately, His ways are not our ways, neither are His thoughts our thoughts. So if you're still alive and breathing, no matter what is going wrong in your life, I want you to take a minute and think about all the good things you do have and give thanks for the priviledge to enjoy such goodness.

As the song writer said, "there's a roof up above me, I have a good plave to sleep; there's food on my table, and shoes on my feet; you gave me your love Lord and a fine family, thank you Lord for Your blessings on me."

God is good! And His mercies endure forever, from generation to generation. Halleluia!

Prayer: Thank you God for your goodness, your kindnesses towards me, your mercy Lord, thank you for all of that. Sometimes as Your children we get so blinded by the storm raging around us that we lose sight of You, holding our hands through the storm and making sure we make it out safely. Today I take the opportunity to say thank you, You're a good good Father. In Jesus' name, Amen.
