Scripture Reading:
Psalm 103:1-3 KJV
Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. [2] Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: [3] Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
As I sat at the nurses' table at the emergency unit today I could not help but think of the goodness and mercies of God. All of a sudden I was completely overwhelmed by how much God gives me and how much I take for granted.
Today's word is simple. Brethren if you have a roof over your head, a good place to sleep, food on your table, shoes on your feet, surrounded by loved ones...just take a minute, at the end of this write-up and give God some thanks. God has been good, He's been so good, He's been better than good.
When we look around us, we will testify to the fact that there are things people are going through that the trials we face are not even worth comparing; but God keeps us and helps us through it all until we emerge victorious.
Bless the Lord o my soul...and all that is within me bless His holy name. Thank you Jesus.
Prayer:
Abba, thank you. Thank you for all You've done, still doing and will do. Thank you for the blessings I can't see, thank you for everything. Thank you for grace, thank you for mercy. i worship your Holy name. In Jesus' name, amen!
